This past weekend my sister and I headed to North Carolina for a few days to visit some of our much loved shops. I finally met one of my favorite dealers as she was working her booth at one of the stores she is in. Her name is Beth and along with a booth here and there, she has a store in Marshville, NC called Old Tyme Marketplace. I have never been to her store, but you can believe I will visit the next time I head that way. I couldn't resist the little rusted bucket in her booth.
Here is my stash from all the shops we visited, they will be headed to the Scott Antique Market this weekend. Our booth is in the South Building, Aisle K6 and K7. Hope to see you there...

It has been a long time, but I am back to blogging! It all started when I was a dealer at Ms. Wendy's Antiques in Brooks, Ga. I loved that great old house and the many rooms. We all worked really hard to make the store inviting and warm. I had been in many different rooms in my time there but my favorite was the main room. I got to pick the paint color and make it my own. Take a look...

After that I got the opportunity to take over a store called the Plum Tree Antiques that was owned at that time by a sweet friend of mine Dawn Edmonson, The Feathered Nest
I was nervous at first, did I have it in me to own my own store? But I said "hey girl this is your dream, wake up and make it happen" plumtreeantiques.blogspot.com

Due to the poor economy, in December 2010 I was forced to close my store. It was such a hard decision to make and broke my heart. A few years before that, in 2008 my friend Wendy was moving her store to downtown Senoia at Christmas time. So I offered to help her set it up for the holidays and when my store closed 2 years later, I found a new home at Ms. Wendy's Antiques. Here are some pictures of her first year Christmas in Senoia. So, that is my story so far...today I am still at Ms. Wendy's Antiques. We do a show together every month called the Scott Antique Market, the Country Living Fair at Stone Mountain Park in October and the newest one in Nashville, TN in April
