Clippings

Long before Pinterest, I started clipping pictures from magazines, putting them together in my own notebook.
This was probably back in early 2004 which if you are like me you can't believe that was 12 years ago!
Recently I was cleaning out some old storage and found my Clippings notebook.

As I was turning the pages, I realized that my taste has changed ever so slightly in the past 12 years. I am sure if I came across these magazine pages today on pinterest, they would spark the same interest I had all those years ago.

As you can see, I also tried for some catchy name for my pages similar to the pinterest boards. I am still in love with the weathered wood, the open cupboards and of course old signs.

I also loved the simplicity in everyday items like seashell, and the usefulness of pieces from the past

No matter what the weather was like outside, plants indoor always made my home feel cozier

Mirrors have a way of making a room look larger, I love everything about this bathroom!

What's not to love about this kitchen?

Simplicity

I doubt I will add to my notebook, I am content following my favorites on Pinterest and filling my boards with the things I love.

Scott Antique Market January 2016

It's a little late to post these, but here are a few pictures from our space at the Scott Antique Market. I am hopefully going to be traveling in the next few weeks to pick up some more vintage goodness for our February show and for my new space at Vintage Village
